Njit Articulation Agreements

Transfer agreements allow students to smoothly transition from a community college to a NJIT by treating credits as equivalents. Credits will continue to be assessed on a per-course basis, based on your curriculum and program. Information on course equivalency can also be found from NJ Transfer. Joint admission agreements allow students who meet certain admission criteria to be admitted to a Community College and NJIT simultaneously. As a result, these schools require students to complete the first two years of their studies toward a bachelor`s degree at Community College and guarantee that their credits are transferred with junior status. The institutions will work together to develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date equivalency lists for their academic programs. NJIT offers degrees in information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics, architecture and design, as well as in the field of management. The agreement came into effect in February and allows students to be recruited for programs offered at both institutions. NJIT has transfer and accreditation agreements with many community colleges in the state of New Jersey.
